Check-Ins: For smooth check-in, report at the airport at least 2 hours before departure for Canada and US flights. But keeping in view the heavy rush at Toronto and Montreal airports, 3 hours is advisable if you are going to the US. The check-in closes 45 minutes before departure for domestic flights and 60 minutes before departure for international flights. Pets: Air Canada allows one domestic cat or a dog per passenger on payment of applicable charges. You can carry it along in the cabin if the container easily fits under the seat in your front and the pet is comfortable in it. You can also take it in the baggage compartment.
